As a therapist I believe in the power of self-understanding, self-exploration and effective communication. Therapy can assist with stress, anxiety, loss, depression, relationship challenges, work challenges, and many other sources of distress. Through therapy you can learn about yourself, resolve challenging feelings & reactions, develop skills for relationships and career, work through loss and generally improve your quality of life.
What type of counselling / psychotherapy do you practice?
I offer mainly person-centred counselling & psychotherapy that is medium to long term. I have training and experience in the Jungian / depth psychology tradition alongside emotion-focused therapy.
What happens in a first session?
First sessions are an opportunity for you to share with me why you have chosen to begin counselling at this time and background to any concerns you might want to address. It’s also an opportunity for you to see a bit of how I work and ask any questions you might have about the process. I see many clients who have never had therapy before and first sessions can be a useful tool in deciding if therapy is right for you at this time.
What are your fees?
My fees are on a sliding scale. Please complete the new client application to see if we have a fit! Spaces in my practice will be available again in Spring 2022.
